Hope everyone is having a great Monday so far. Here is a picture of my yorkie that I took when I got bored one day. When my boyfriend saw with the curler, he told me to take it off cause our yorkie is a male. Of course, I wasn't going to take it off with snapping a few pictures of my little guy. At least his curler is blue..lol..

Happy Monday Everyone!
Foundations
Let's talk about foundation. I do admit, I haven't tried the high end foundations like MAC, Clinique etc, but for now the drugstore foundation is more than enough for me. Besides Revlon is often compared to MAC, so why do I need to spend close to $30 when I can get almost the same results for around $10 right?
Before I started using Revlon about a month ago, I was actually using Maybelline for close to 7 years. I decided I needed a change to my foundation when Maybelline started to feel a little too heavy on my face especially during the summer time. So after reading many reviews, I decided to purchase the Revlon foundation.
My inital reaction when I went to the Revlon section of CVS was "dang there are alot of colors to choose from." Growing up in Ontario, Canada us Canadian didn't really have alot of the colors/varities for foundations that people here in the US have. So you can expect my reaction when I saw all the colors and different product that CVS had to offer..lol.
As I was going through the colors, I noticed that they had caramel and instantly grabbed that because my Maybelline foundation is in caramel. I ended up getting the colorstay in combination/oily skin and the new complexion one-step compact foundation since CVS had a promotion going on with buy one get one free.
I have now been using these foundations for about a month now and LOVE the colorstay foundation. The colorstay foundation does exactly what it says on the bottle. It stays on your face for 12 hours or more and gives amazing coverage. It doesn't make me look like I have too much makeup on my face. I haven't gotten "oil spots" on my face during the day like I did when I was usuing Maybelline. Throughout the day, I don't even touch up my makeup since it really does stay on my face for a long long time. I would recommed this makeup to anyone who is looking for a great coverage without the heavy feeling. This foundation also blends easily.
The new complexion one-step compact foundation is alrite. The only problem that I have with this foundation is that it smears. Its extremely lightweight and finishes to a powder feel. It has a medium coverage, so I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who needs a heavy coverage. Otherwise, its a good foundation.
I hope you guys found this review helpful. Remember that no matter what real beauty comes from the inside and not the outside.

Wet n Wild Lash Intense Mascara
Who says you need expensive mascara to make your lashes look longer and thicker?
I was very reluctant to try out the Wet n Wild mascara because it wasn't as popular as some of the other mascaras on the market, but yet at $2.99 on sale, I felt like I wouldn't lose anything if I didn't end up like the mascara. So I bought it and the first thing I did when I got home was try it on and boy was I surprised. I wasn't expecting the results that I ended up getting, but this mascara made my lashes appear thicker and longer. It didn't weigh my lashes down either.
I have tried Maybelline, L'oreal etc. and to be honest this mascara is just as good as the others if not better. The price is an added bonus. I believe the actual price of the mascara is $4.99, but like I said I ended up paying $2.99 for it on sale at K-mart. If you guys get a chance definitely try out this mascara, you won't be disappointed.
Once I get my camera to focus in on my lashes clearly, I will post some before and after pictures.
HI EVERYONE :)
Hey Guys, I have made this page because I love anything related to makeup, but I am not in the cosmetology/fashion field. So somehow to "quench" my passion of makeup, I have created this page. This blog will not only be about beauty, but about anything that comes to my mind.
Being a student, I learned to bargain shop and love it. I get excited when I see a good deal. Its like a child going into the candy store..lol. I try not to buy makeup when its not on sale. Of course, if I need it and know it will never go on sale I do end up getting it.
Since I am on a budget there will be a lot of drugstore makeups that I will be reviewing. This is more practical as well because not a lot of people can afford to buy the high end makeup. If it gets the work done there is absolutely nothing wrong with buying drugstore makeup right?
I hope you guys enjoy my site and learn a few things from it. Remember beauty on the outside is nothing compared to beauty on the inside.
Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it!
